High quality pressure sensitive "Attachment Hot Melt"
COMMON USES
Attachment of cards and samples into magazines or something similar which can be taken off without substrate failure.
Also as an Antislip hotmelt for palletizing.
BONDS Removable bonds onto various plastics and many papers.
ADVANTAGES
Euromelt 322 is a hotmelt with good bonding properties to various materials. The adhesion to paper is reduced therefore Euromelt 322 is especially suitable for attachment of samples into magazines and for pallet securing.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
Viscosity 2,500 - 3,400 cps at 160 deg C.
Softening point 81 - 91 deg C (Ring & Ball)
APPLICATION METHOD 150 - 170 deg C, by means of nozzle
APPEARANCE
Transparent to light yellow, clear to light cloudy flexible and slightly permanently tacky, (pressure sensitive).
ODOUR Low odour hot. No odour cold.
CLEAN UP For the cold cleaning of surfaces on application equipment, conveyor belts or other machine parts, Melt-O-Clean can be applied. Melt-O-Clean is based on natural resources and facilitates manual cleaning even in case of pronounced charring. Before using Melt-O-Clean, its suitability for lacquered and synthetic coated surfaces should be tested.
LIMITATIONS Remark: Bonds made with E 322 may show staining in the glued area due to the migration of residual mineral oils of the offset printing particularly if stored at high temperatures.
