AQUENCE Plastipad Adhesive

Premium, high solids, synthetic resin adhesive designed for padding work.

A long accepted product, well known in the New Zealand Printing and Book Binding Industry for over thirty years. 

COMMON USES

• For padding, hand bookbinding, envelope back-seaming and window-facing, paper wrapping, tube winding, photo mounting, and paper laminating.

BONDS
Papers and cardboard.

ADVANTAGES

• Can be hand applied (by brush or roller), used in bench spreaders, or employed in machines like Autowrap, Helios and Carlaw
• Dries to form translucent, flexible, non-warp bonds with moderate water resistance

PROPERTIES

• Viscosity:    8,000 - 8,500cps @ 27 C
• pH:    Approx 5

• Base material, EVA resin.

APPLICATION METHOD
PLASTIPAD may be applied by brush, roller, or mechanical spreader.

APPEARANCE

• Wet: White fluid
• Dry: Translucent

ODOUR
Low odour wet. None dry.

CLEAN UP
Water whilst wet. Warm water and scrubbing when dry.
