EUROMELT 360 Hot Melt 13.5kg

High quality pressure sensitive hotmelt adhesive used for pick-up and overlap glueing of labels to bottles and containers (cans) with paper from a magazine (roller and nozzle application). 

COMMON USES

• Pressure sensitive hot melt used for pick-up and overlap glueing of labels to bottles and containers (cans) with paper from a magazine (roller and nozzle application).
• Euromelt 360 has medium level surface tack and a long open time, good migration properties with good pick up and creep properties; suitable for hot filling.

BONDS
PET and other plastics, many coated papers.

ADVANTAGES

• Meets composition requirements of FDA - Indirect Food Additives Regulation 21 CFR 175.105, "Adhesives".

PROPERTIES

• When working with expanded PET bottles Euromelt 360 shows a high flexibility which is necessary for the compensation of the expansion.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

• Viscosity: 850 – 1400 cps at 150°C

APPLICATION METHOD
Applied by slot, extrusion, roller segment. Temperature 140°C - 180°C

APPEARANCE

• Appearance: Light Yellow Solid, flexible and permanently tacky, (pressure sensitive).

ODOUR
Low odour hot. No odour cold.

CLEAN UP
For the cold cleaning of surfaces on application equipment, conveyor belts or other machine parts, Melt-O-Clean can be applied. Melt-O-Clean is based on natural resources and facilitates manual cleaning even in case of pronounced charring. Before using Melt-O-Clean, its suitability for lacquered and synthetic coated surfaces should be tested.
